| As the final hurrah for WKSU’s 50th Anniversary celebration, we’re inviting back anyone who has ever worked at WKSU, as a student, employee, or a volunteer. On Saturday, Oct. 14 beginning with the Kent State University homecoming parade, the day will be filled with reunion activities culminating with a gala dinner at the KSU ballroom. WEWS news anchor, and former WKSU student worker, Ted Henry, will be the parade grand marshal. The gala dinner will be a fun get-together. Along with WKSU on-air personalities, the evening will feature Rudy Maxa from “The Savvy Traveler,” Robert Siegel, host of “All Things Considered,” and, back by popular demand “Rewind’s” Bill Radke. Tickets for the gala dinner are $50 each. See you there! |
