Marti Ring
Development Associate
 Marti came to WKSU in August 2002, after working in Kent State’s Athletic Department as a development associate and executive director of the University’s Blue and Gold.
In 1999, Marti graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in radio and television production. As a non-traditional student, she worked a variety of jobs to support herself while she was in school. For several years, she worked with new home and remodeling construction crews as well as installing and finishing hardwood floors in her brother’s business.
Marti works with all types and sizes of businesses from major corporate underwriters to local, family owned businesses. Marti anticipates every new day as an opportunity to spend time with interesting, intelligent, eclectic people who believe in the value of public radio. “It’s great for me to help support WKSU’s programming and to see the commitment to quality at the station and with our underwriters.”
Ever the intrepid adventurer, she continues to help her husband with his construction business and is always eager to take advantage of a day outside with their weimaraner, “Mulligan.”
