Description
Chris and Tracy met at an evangelical church in Akron, Ohio, through a singles ministry called “Real Life.” After dating for 6 mos., they realized that they were in love. About 3 mos. later, they both relocated (separately) to the Washington D.C. area, and after another 10 months, Chris FINALLY popped the “Big Question” during a Sunday night worship service at the church that they attended—and where Tracy worked. She was giving announcements onstage, when Chris appeared with a dozen red roses and a microphone, and while on bended knee, proceeded to profess to Tracy—with delight from the crowd—his love and desire to marry her. Of course, she said “Yes!”
Thoughts on Design
The wedding theme for our marriage was “Faith, Hope, and Love”. Though a familiar one, our promotions, ceremony and reception spun a unique angle on the theme. The nontraditional invitations and programs were designed to build anticipation, and like the unveiling of our new partnership, lead to a crescendo finale.
“Honey, these are so beautiful!!!!”
